Finding a couples therapist as a new or expecting parent is harder than it should be. During this pilot, we'll work with you directly. There are no databases storing your information and this is not an AI product. We are fully hands on in helping you find the right therapist.

What we do

We are not therapists, and we're not pretending to be. Our job is to help you find someone who will be a strong fit for you and your family.

We will help curate a list of therapists and narrow it down until you're satisfied. And for each, we’ll explain why they’re being suggested — including their background, credentials, therapeutic focus, and why they may be suited to you.

Timeline

The process is expected to take roughly 30 days from intake to match.

The timeline is intentional. We will move with the urgency your family deserves. But we also won't cut corners. After all, your child's wellbeing is at stake.

How it works

  1. Intake: We talk with you and your partner to understand what you need. We may decide we're not the right fit — not because of you or your relationship, but because we know where we're most able to help. If so, we'll kindly point you toward other resources. If we are a fit, we move forward together.
  2. Curated search: We run an extensive search and share a preliminary list of therapists suited for consultation calls. For each, we explain their credentials, background, and why they might be a good match. Every name on the list is highly curated — established, credible professionals.
  3. Consultation prep: We help you think through your consultation calls and how to prepare.
  4. Regroup: After your consultations, we check in for your feedback. If no one felt right, we use what you learned to run another search and provide a new list.
  5. Match: Our goal is for you to find someone you both connect with — and feel confident can help.

Who this is for

  • Parents who are expecting, or who have a child under two.
  • Both partners are ready and willing to try couples therapy
  • Both can are committed to attending biweekly therapy sessions regularly
  • Families who are able to pay out of pocket (Unfortunately, insurance often doesn't cover couples and family therapy)
  • Parents looking for support before problems are too entrenched or severe

What we ask of you

This is early and we'll ask for your honest feedback along the way. Mainly, we're asking for your time and trust. In return, you'll get dedicated support at no cost during the pilot.
